São Luis

Here I write again. At saturday we left Fortaleza at 21:00 for a 19 hours long trip to São Luis. As always we were exited in the beginning cause we left one city to se another. We had some cookies, yoghurt, juice and chips with us aboard to eat. The night came and we should sleep, it was a bit difficult and it was cold cause of the AC. I sleept many short times, then the morning came and the bus stopped in Parnaíba in the state of Piauí, it stoped cause it should be cleaned. Later we continued the trip and next stop was in Chapadinho were we could eat, I only ate ice cream, wasnt hungry. At 4 o clock the bus arrived in Maranhão´s capital, São Luis.
São Luis is a really cosy and beautiful city, old colonial houses and beautiful old buildings. We found a pousada for 40 reais and later we ate at a restaurant, Papagoja Amarela, we ate outside wich was a bad idea cause soon an annoying man from street came and wanted to sell a "masterpiece" he made with metal thread. He was annoying to the other people around to and soon alot of people walked around the tables trying to sale things, but no one was interrested on bying anything, we were here to eat. The dinner was good and later we went back to Pousada Maranhense were we live now for the night.
Today we have been walking around in the city and looked at things, its a really beautiful city, the most beautiful this far, I really recomend travellers in Brazil to visit São Luis if it is possible cause its really worth it. Right now we sit in a cyber café, later we will go to the hospital cause I think I need vaccination against yellow fever, there is a risk I get it in the Amazon forest.
