Crazy Copacabana

Hello again!
Rio de Janeiro is a good city, I love the size and the skyscrapers, even if the metro is very small for being in such a big city, I think its around the same size as the one in Stockholm, according to the maps I have seen of it. In a city like Stockholm, with 1 million people it is okay, but Rio de Janeiro have around 11 million people, then its very small and sometimes you are forced to take a bus to reach your destination. Nevis´s home were we live is in a place called Baixada Fluminense, that is far from the center, here is no metro only a train that closes early specially at sundays. Exept for these things Rio is a really good city. We have been in the center and eating at Colombo, its wonderfully cosy, for being here in Brazil its a bit expencive, but two persons here is just a bit more expensive than for two people in the cafeteria in Gislaved. We have also visited Saraiva, the bookshop that also exist in Shopping Recife. We have visited the catedral and the Lapa, a bridge for trains. Yesterday we went to Copacabana beach and walked around there, ate at Bob´s. At the way to the metro I suddenly felt something wet come on my shoe, I thought someone dropped something at me cause someone was almost behind me, but I didnt think about it. I looked at my foot and saw a yellow slimy, cold thing, around me was alot of birds, was it dove poop? No, its white and hot, not yellow and cold, but maybe the poop of the brazilian doves is different, what do I know? I wanted to go to the kiosk and take paper to get rid of it, but suddenly someone wanted to help me to take it off. Well, he had paper to take it off, so I wanted to take the paper, but suddenly he started to clean my shoe and my feet. "No, no it is okay I can do it", I told him, "Dont worry, I fix this... ah, bird poopie you know..." I was confused and asked Diêgo if I should go away, but he didnt say anything, well, at least I didnt recognize it, another man came and wanted to help, took off my shoes and let me sit on a chair. I wanted to go away, waiting for Diêgo to do something, but when the man wanted to clean my other foot I left. Then he said it cost 50 reais, we got a chock, 50 reais for this??? Later he said 5 reais, but we didnt wanna pay for this, so we ran away. The man followed us, we stayed with some old ladies asking the way to the metro, the man came and told in the open to Diêgo that he wanna kill him and tear is face apart and alot of horrible things. The man went away and came back asking 2 reais, later we would get rid off him, so he got his 2 reais and left us alone. Later we left Copacabana, alot of crazy people there. We went to downtown and ate at Colombo before heading home, the cookies at Colombo is so beautiful and delicious! Well, today we will go to Petrópolis to see the crown jewels of the Brazilian Empire, from the monarchy. Bye!
