Olinda

Hello dear readers! Here I am blogging again, I am at the Shopping Recife writing again. This sunday, me and Diêgo went to visit his friend Cláudio, we were at his home, ate some mango, I had problem opening the mango, I did in the wrong way, Diêgo thought it was a bit funny. Later we went with Cláudio´s uncle to the old, cultural city of Olinda, wich is a part of the metropolitan area of Recife. The carnival already have been starting there so it was alot of people. Olinda is a very beautiful city, I can say it is the most beautiful city I have been in. It is old houses, alot of colours and a wonderful view over the ocean and over Recife´s many many skyscrapers, at the evening it was an absolutely wonderful view.
It became later and after following the dancing stream of people we went to the car waiting for Cláudio´s uncle who took us home.
Yesterday me and Diêgo went to his aunt getting some things, later we went to Diêgo´s friend Alessandra. We made a visit at a cyber café, later we went home to Cláudio.
When the evening came we went to a pizzeria with Alessandra and her boyfriend eating alot of pizza.
Today we only went here to the shopping eating candy, I feel a bit sick in my stomach now.
This was all for today, see you again later, bye!

One week in Brazil

I have already been one week here in Recife. What have happened?
Me and Diêgo have been at the beach at sunset drinking from coco-nut, walking to Shopping Recife. We found a room in a womans house, she hire out some rooms in her house for travellers, it is 500 reais per month, expence if u think about the low standard, the beds are hard, made of trees and the toilet do not work perfect, the other toilet who does work do not have a door.
One evening we went to Old Recife to dance, but I have only ate cookies that day and felt sick, so I had to go to a toilet in town. Yesterday we went to Extra, its like ICA in Sweden, but here there are windows so we can see how they treat the meat, not a false fasad like in Sweden where they cheat behind the wall. So now we eat at home, its a bit cheaper too.
Today I saw Diêgos school, and now we are at a cheap cyber for only 60 centavos per hour. Later we will go to Diêgos friend Cláudio and tonight we will see what we do. This was all for today, bye!

Finally with Diêgo!!!

Hello dear readers!
I have not been writing for a while, but I will write now about everything that has happened since last time.
I woke up at night this saturday, fixing myself and hurry to the bus that took me to Trafalgar Square were I met Amel and Oscar one more time, they followed me to the bus that took me to Heathrow Airport. I was flying to Lisbon where I middle landed, later I came aboard on a great airplane flying for 7 hours till I finally landen in Recife, Brazil. I was so nervous I almost felt sick. Outside the window I could se palms, and those white skyscrapers I always have seen on photos from Recife.
When I left the airplane I was waiting a hole eternity at the passport control, when I got my bag back and went out, I met Diêgo. I was shy, looking at my bag again before I gave him a hug, it was like time stoped and everything around dissapeared. It was a wonderful moment.
Later we went to his friend Eduardos car, he took us to a hotel were we spent the first night.
Next day we took a walk at the beach, I was very thirsty, this heat was extreme to me. Later we went to Shopping Recife, a big shopping center.
Yesterday we took the bus to Marco Zero and walked around in that area, drinking coconut-milk, looking in a church with gold. Later we went home again. We are living at a backpackers hostel, we had two nights there, this is the third and probably last, I hope we find an apartment or house to hire, its cheaper per months. Today we have been at Shopping Recife twice, the second time is right now while I write this. We also had a sweet time at the beach this evening. This is everyhting I had to write now, Ill keep in toutch another day, now I wish you a good evening.

The last day in the United Kingdom

Hello dear readers!
This is my last day here in London, I am still sick, but I think it is a bit better, when I woke up today I felt horrible.
I can tell that yesterday I almost didnt do anything, we woke up very late cause there was a long night before. At three at afternoon we went to Starbuck in Soho, Amel went to school after that, me and Oscar went around in the city for some minutes before we went home. I was resting alot, and at the evening we were watching a film, "the Queen", it was about the queen in United Kingdom. Later we slept and today I havent done anything yet. I wanna rest, cause it will be a difficult night and it is worse cause I am sick. Amel want me to go out and all, but I know I should not go out. In this evening we shall go to Balance, a restaurant, but I sdont want it to be to late. I wont take Heathrow Express back, it is a very primitive system (primitive as anything else in this primitive country) the train doesnt open until 5:10 wich is all to late for me to have the time I need to check in all my stuff. I was thinking about taking the last train this night, but I should not be awake that long cause if I am Ill never get frree from my illness. So Ill take the night busses, first to Trafalgar Square from Finsbury Park were I am now, then Ill take the buss from Trafalgar Square to Heathrow Airport, this trip with both busses will take about 2 hours, so if I wanna be at the airport 4 o'clock I have to wake up 1 o'clock at night. I hope everything will be fixed and I really really really wish this stupid illness from hell will dissapear. I really dont wanna feel shit when I meet Diêgo. It is a precious moment I was waiting for in ages, I dont want it to be spoiled cause of a stupid illness. Well, Ill sleep no matter what, the most importance, meeting with Diêgo is highest priority.
That was all for today, wish me good luck!

Catch a cold

Hello, this is wednesday, the 9:th of january and I sit here writing again. Yesterday morning I woke up feeling not fine, I had cath a cold and was feeling awful. Amel had things to do from school, so I had to take care of myself. The best thing I could do was probably staying at home and rest, but instead I went to Westminster. I was checking the Houses of Parliament, I was looking for a Starbuck were I could borrow their WC, but I didnt find any. Outside the Houses of Parliament I saw many men in smoking, probably politicians, I saw one man looking alot like George Galloway, it would be cool if it really was him!
I found a WC next to the entrance to the Underground.
I went over the bridge over the river Thames, there I went to eat at McDonald's and after this I went to the London Aquarium in the County Hall.
Then I went to buy a hot chocolate with cream, while I was drinking it slowly, I was looking at Big Ben at the other side of the Thames in the sunset. It was very peaceful, even with alot of people passing by behind me every second and seagulls flying over my head. Later I went back to the Underground and came back to Finsbury Park. I got a little problem about finding my bus, later I understood I was standing on the wrong side of the station, my bus was at the other side. At night Amel and me was looking at "The Wizard of Oz" before to sleep.
Today I felt a little bit better at morning, but still I have a sore throught. We took the bus to Piccadilly Circus, and then the tube to the Tower Bridge. We took a walk around the Tower of London. We went up to the Tower Bridge, looking at the wonderful view of this enormous metropolitan city. After the gift shop we went at a road beside the Thames, we stayed in a pub eating dinner, I ate fish & chips and after we went to the Underground, taking the tube to Waterstone's, a big book shop. At the top floor we drank tea.
Well, thats what happened these two days, right now Im here infront of computer, waiting for Diêgo to be online and for Amel's friend Oscar from Gothenburg to come, Amel is in school right now. Good evening!

Third day in London...

Hello dear readers!
This is the third day I am in London and I have some things to tell. At saturday after I helped to take away Amel's christmas tree, we went to Waitrose, the brittish version of ICA. There I bought some things that would be necessary while I am here. After that we went home, look at a film on his computer. When the night came we went to KU Bar to sit there and drink coke and talk. Later we went to Heaven to dance. I dont really have a reason to go there, but we went there and spent some hours there. It was not specially fun, I wanted Diêgo to be with me. I met a guy there who wanted me to take his number, but I told I already have my boyfriend, but he didnt seem to respect, in the end I took it just to be nice, later I trash it!
We came home five o clock at morning, wich means I had been awake for about 26 hours wich is a personal record for me. That day felt like two days!
Yesterday we went to Harrods to shop... well I didnt shop to tell the truth, the prices were to expence and I didnt find anyhting I really want and think is worth for a higher price. We went to H&M later were I at least bought a shirt. At night we met two classmates of Amel, Annalis from Norway and Sandra from Brazil. We went to cinema and watched "Enchanted", it was a nice film, but Amel didnt like it. The price for just watch the film was similar to the price in Gislaved, but the price to eat pop corn and drink pepsi was almost as expence as the ticket, thats a shame!

Today we have been at the Brittish Museum and the National History Museum. It was very interresting, the National History was more interresting, first I thought it would be the opposite. I feel like I have catch a cold today, it is really annoying, why couldnt I be sick two weeks ago?
Right now Amel is in his school, so I went home by myself, I had problems to go here, so I had to ask people at the street wich way to go. When I finally arrived I had another more annoying problem to solve, to unlock the door! My god how complicated it was, I think I was fighting with the door for 20 minutes when it finally opened! Now I sit here and write and ten o clock I shall meet Amel outside his school, I really hope I find the right way to go, this city is lake a labyrinth, everyhting looks the same everywhere and there is one million roads to choose between. It take a while to get used to this. On the other hand I still think London is a wonderful city and it feels wonderful to be here, I love this place.
This was all today, you will see me write another day, take care!

Daniel is back in London!

Hello all readers! Right now I sit in Amel's home writing on his computer. I woke up early at morning, I was feeling very sick in the stomach, I couldnt sleep last night so I had to take sleeping medicine wich made me feel sick. I didnt eat breakfast, only in the car before we arrived in Landvetter Airport. We went inside the terminal, me, my mom, dad and sister, Rebecca. I checked in my bag, waited some minutes to be with my family before I passed through the pass control. I were waiting for the next pass control to open so I could go to my gate. Meanwhile I sent sms to Linnéa. Then I went out to the airplane. It was dark outside. I slept a bit in the airplane, and when I woke up it was bright outside. The plane reached the United Kingdom, and before it could land in Heathrow it was flying around the city waiting till it could land. I had to wait about 20 minutes before I got my bag and could go out and meet Amel. We took Heathrow Express into the center of London, drinking chocolate at Starbucks, I waited more than one year to visit Starbuck, it was tasty! Later we took a bus to Amel's street. Amel wanted help to put away all christmas things. And now I sit here and blogging, Ill write more next time I sit here in the computer. Bye for now!
