The Contract

Yesterday was a changing day. At morning we went to Shopping Boa Vista, bought a card to Diêgo´s cellphone, bought chocolate and something to drink. Later after some hours resting at home we took the buss to Boa Viagem to visit the Swedish Consulate.
The consul said that the form the secretary in Rio de Janeiro linked to us is two years old and is not working anymore. He also explained some things, that if we make a contract showing that we will make a stabil union (marry) we had to make a lawyer make a contract for us, then nothing in the interview in Rio de Janeiro can stop us. We also should buy one ticket for january before the interview to show that Diêgo really will go to Sweden. Right now I am only worried about the price for the contract, lawyer seems to tend to be very expencive what I know.
Today we will check the new form, print it out at Êlyza´s home, last we paid 5 reais for just printing out the form. We will also visit Cláudio again.
Our trip to João Pessoa and Natal wont be done this month because of all things we have to fix, like documents, contract, form, bla bla bla, so hopefully we will make the trip next month. Lets see what happens, new suprises come every day.
Thats was all for today, bye!

Geography

Hello everybody!
Yesterday me and Diêgo went to copy some documents, like passport and stuff, later we went to Livraria Cultura and spent the afternoon there. Nothing really special happened yesterday, bought pasta to fix at home and some cookies with brigadeiro-taste.
Today we first went to the bookshop Livraria Cultura, stoped buy at the perfume shop were Amparo works, Êlyza´s mother. Later we went to Cordeiro to this cyber, later we will go to Cláudio´s home.
At the way we were talking about geography again. Before we fighted about if America is one continent, as Diêgo say, he say that United States always wanna fall apart the continent in two. I say it is two continents, it is most realistic, as you can see on the map it is two different landmasses, it disturb me a bit that he say America is one continent, while Europe and Asia is two, cause it is more logic to say that Eurasia is the real continent, but Diêgo dont agree with this, he say the culture create continents. Today we talked about if England and Scotland is one country or not. Diêgo say it is different countries cause they have different teams in the World Cup, I say it is one country, United Kingdom or Great Britain we always say in swedish. They have one seat in the United Nations, one membership in European Union, one account in the Eurovision Song Contest, to say it is different countries and show the different flags in World Cup (wich many people look at) is just a trick to fool tourists and make more money, it is sad people believe in this shit. Suprisely Diêgo did not see Wales as a country, after all it have the same status as England and Scotland. Well, thats all for todays chapter, see you again, bye!

Passport fixed!

Yesterday when we were at cyber, Diêgo got a mail from the federal police at the airport that his passport was already finished. Later we took the bus to the airport, Guararapes International were we could get it. We took a small bus all the way to the entrance, we really didnt wanna walk that way after what happened last time.
Diêgo´s passport was blue with the Brazilian star in the middle, really beautiful. We eat at Bob´s at the top floor, went out to the roof garden of the airport mere I fell in love with the wonderful view of Recife´s all skyscrapers. We was at the airport to the evening before we went home. Something at the roof of the bus was destroyed and flyed away from the car, really scary, but funny too. Today I dont know what we will do, maybe go to the basilica, I am sure we will go to Livraria Cultura as we alsways do. This is all of today, bye!

Fascist police

Hello readers! I have things to tell about yesterday. We went to the federal police at one o clock, when we arrived there I made my shorts longer, cause they have rules that u cant enter if you wear shorts. When we passed through the gate the guard stopped us, my shirt was showing my arms to much so I didnt have permission to pass. I was really angry, but then a woman passed buy showing alot of her arms and more, but she could pass. Diêgo asked why she could pass but not me, "She is a woman" the police said then. Diêgo went inside alone, but they didnt open until 30 minutes later so we had to wait, but they took women now already. We waited in 40 minutes, later Diêgo could enter, but the police wanted me there, so we had to go home so I could change clothes.
When we came back later we met a girl from Sweden, she was fighting with the fascist police cause she wrote her birthdate wrong, in Brazil they write the numbers opposite from what we do in Sweden, but the police didnt wanna explain to her, just yelling. The polices didnt speak english either, only later someone who spoke english came, how primitive, they act like gorillas those stupid fascist police. We helped her, she told us she have been there for 2 hours, the police didnt like her from the beginning.
We got her msn and adress, later we went to Livraria Cultura, the book shop. They had a lecture about the elections in United States. They was speaking in portuguese, so Diêgo had to translate for me sometimes, as I could see, United States is even more capitalist och fascist than Brazil, I always knew this, but after seeing Brazil Im scared for how it look like in the North American neihgbour, its not the people who choose the president. The reason why only two parties exist in USA is cause its to expence to fix a party that all people can hear, at least one billion dollar!
Later we left the Livraria Cultura, went home and eat something before falling asleep. Today we will get Diêgo´s passport, or go and fix new documents, then we have to take the metro, exiting! Bye!

Brennand´s Castle

Hello all readers! This is the second upload I do today cause last time I wrote I forgot to save, so I have to write the old upload today before I could write this, really annoying!
Well anyway, Yesterday we took the bus to Instituto Ricardo Brennand, an artist. First I thought there only was one Brennand in Recife, but actually there is two, Ricardo Brennand and Fransisco Brennand, the one who created the Crystal Tower across the water at the opposite side of Marco Zero.
First when we arrived at the place we had to wait 30 minutes outside the gate before it opened, then we had to walk a long path with palms of each side of the way, really beautiful. Around us it was big open fields with palms and one factory far away. We finally came to the garden after 15 minutes walk, then we entered the first castle. It was really european style, not south american at all. But it was beautiful and reminded me of Hogwarths. We looked at many things, like old globe´s, old dolls and classical white statues. Later we went to the other castle were Diêgo fell in love with the many armour knights there. There we also could find a collection of swords and shields and also beautiful keys from all over the european continent, I saw one key I liked, the name of this was The Swedish Kingdom, a golden key with the three crons on it.
We ate chockolate cake in the first castle, looked around again before we took the bus to downtown were we eat dinner and bought three chockolate boxes and kinder eggs. Me and Diêgo had a big fight about if America is two or one continent, it is two seperate geographical continents, South America and North America, thats my view. Bye!

"Family" dinner

Hello! I have some things to tell, many things have been happening and it was a long time ago since I wrote last time.
Last week we went to Diêgo´s grandmothers home to talk to his aunt from Rio de Janeiro if we can stay there. The first day, she didnt arrive, but the other day we finally met her. We ate dinner there, and DIêgos aunt, Auda who live here told Diêgo to introduce me to Nevis, from Rio de Janeiro.
"He belong to the family to, from my grandfather´s side, he live in Sweden and doesnt speak portuguese" Auda said, it was really a lie, just do dont tell the truth.
"He have the exact same eyes as my grandfather" she said later, I didnt understand anything so I was just there smiling, but Diêgo thought it was really embarrising and pathetic.
Well, it was okay for us to come any day in june to Rio de Janeiro, just call first then we will take the bus there. This is all for this chapter, bye!

Diêgo´s passport

Hello all readers!

First I want to write what happened these days, at sunday we went to a zoo called Dois Irmãos almost outside Recife. The zoo was cheap, but it was also very small and mostly had birds. We saw many birds, the greatest of them all was the harpya. We also saw snakes and animals I never saw before, they also had a bear and deers, some familiar animals that is to be found in Sweden.

Now I want to write about yesterday, when we took the bus to Boa Viagem to visit the airport and talk to the federal police there about my ticket who is for 182 days in Brazil and not 180 that is the max time for a tourist to stay in the country without a special visa.

At the way to the airport we had to pass close to a favela. I was walking beside Diêgo in my own safe world when a man suddenly came to us with his bike. I thought he made an accident and was telling an apology he almost crash us, I had no idea he was trying to steal from us. In portuguese the man said "If you run you will regret it". I didnt understand anything untill Diêgo told me to run, the man hold his hand around my arm, "Is he trying to steal us?" I asked, really stupid, "Yes,hurry, run!", suddenly I got panic, I hold Diêgo´s hand and we ran away, my arm that has become very sweaty in the heat, could easy slip out from the man´s han. Thank god the man was not armed and thank god he didnt follow us. To be honest I think he was a really bad thief, maybe he never stole anyone before, cause he didnt hold me to hard, and didnt even try to hurt anyone of us.

We came to the airport, Guararapes International safe and sound. Diêgo talked to the military police in the entrance about his document, later we went to the federal polices´ corner were I could enter first and talk about my ticket.

No one could speak english exept a lady who also was there for a visit like me, she helped me to translate and talk to the police. Later she had to go, and then I went to an office to another police who not spoke english either, so I had to wait for a lady who came to talk to me. Well, the lady was abit off or how to say, a bit like a diva and didnt let me speak or even tell why I came here. She just give me the number to an agent for the federal police, Diógenes who I should call and talk to, later I left the room and went out to Diêgo again.

Later it was time for Diêgo to enter and talk about the document. When he came out he told me they will fix his passport now, first we had to pay, so we went to the bank and took out 200 reais and went to the post office were we should make the payment. I also posted the postcards to my family that I bought in Olinda last month. Later Diêgo wanted to fix himself before fixing the photo of the passport. Everything worked perfect and the 12:th of mars its time for us to take the passport. We celebrated by eating at Bob´s at the top floor, later we took the buss home, no long walking this time after what happened earlier at the day.

This is all of todays blog, bye!
